Lake Tobesofkee Reservoir is located in rural northwest Georgia and is one of the state's most popular recreation areas. The reservoir is named after the Tobesofkee River, which flows into it.

The reservoir is home to a variety of recreational opportunities, including fishing, boating, swimming, and camping. There are also several trails that lead through the area, providing hikers and bicyclists with miles of scenic paths to explore. Visitors can also enjoy concerts at the lake's pavilion or watch a movie at one of the park's lakeside campsites.

The Grand Opera house in Macon, Georgia opened its doors in 1884 as the largest and most opulent theater in the state. The building was designed by architect J.P. McGowan and features a lavish interior décor, including marble staircases and wall panels adorned with paintings and sculptures.

In addition to hosting performances by grand opera companies from around the country, the Grand Opera house also frequently hosts traveling shows such as circuses and vaudeville acts. The theater has been closed for renovations since 2009 but is expected to reopen later this year.
